International Literary Film Festival.

The International Literary Film Festival (InLiFiFe) shows films from around the world that are about literature. InLiFiFe is passionate about presenting documentaries and fictional films about novels and novelists, poems and poets, journalism and journalists, screenplays and screenwriters, blogs and bloggers, plays and playwrights. 

The festival will be held in New York City, USA, in November 2011. Later festivals are scheduled for: 

- Berlin, Germany, January 2012. 

- Leiden, Holland, May 2012. 

- Cha-am, Thailand, January 2013.

Have you made a literary film? 

Categories.

Feature literary film - longer than 60 minutes. 

Short literary film - shorter than 60 minutes. 

Documentary film about literature - longer than 60 minutes. 

Documentary short film about literature - shorter than 60 minutes. 

Deadline.

Entries must be received by October 14, 2011.

Eligibility.

The subject and storyline of your film should be centered on literature and/or writers.

Your film must have been produced in 2010 or 2011.

Films in languages other than English must be subtitled in English.

Multiple submissions are welcome.

Please make your DVDs NTSC Region 0 or 1 and label them with:

- Film title.

- Director's name. 

- Category (feature film, short film, documentary film, or documentary short film). 

- Running time. 

- Submitter's name and email address.

Please ensure that a signature is not required upon delivery.

Judges and Notification.

A team of literary and film professionals will judge the films.

Films selected for the NYC festival will be notified by late October, 2011.
